James Stewart Wright, 69, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.
James was born in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Clifford Carter and Mildred Chapman Wright. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and a member of the Sisters Baptist Church in Sandersville, Georgia. James was a retired owner of Intec Engineering Inc. He was an avid gardener, loved college football and being with his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn H. Wright of Macon, daughter, Leslie (Steve) Wright Lowtwait, son, Cory (Brittany) Wright, three grandchildren, Rachel Wright, Broderick Lowtwait and Will Wright, three brothers, Paul (Melanie) Wright, Andy Wright and Ricky Wright.
