Janice Byrd Bible, 87, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Lyles officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 W. Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
Janice was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Francis Clyde and Caroline Weaver Byrd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bible, Jr. and her brother, Francis Clyde Byrd, Jr. Janice was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a controller. She was a member of Lakeshore Community Church in Eatonton. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Susan B. (Mike) McCollum of Columbus, William I. (Melissa) Bible of Cumming, grandchildren, Katie McCollum Harrison, Kelly (Nolan) Pendleton, Landon Bible and Caroline Bible, great grandchildren, Oliver Pendleton, Evie Pendleton, Mac Pendleton, Sam Harrison, and Wes Harrison.
