Jean was born in Forsyth, Georgia to the late Nellie Hunt Watts and Jimmy H. “Buddy” Chapman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Murner Sanders and her grandson, Troy Michael Myrick. Jean loved gardening and definitely had a green thumb, for she always had gorgeous flowers blooming in her numerous flowerbeds. She also loved to sew, cook, bake, camp and fish at Lake Tobesofkee. Jean also loved to gamble, and enjoyed her many trips to Biloxi with her friends. She enjoyed shooting pool, and won quite a few tournaments over the years. Jean was a longtime member of the Macon Moose Lodge #1455 and Women of the Moose #483.
The family is eternally grateful to all the staff at the Lodge of Warner Robins for the loving care they gave to their Mimi over the past several years.
She is survived by her daughters; Wanda Davis of Canton, GA, Janet Mobley of Byron, GA, Mary Beth Odom (Bill) of Macon, grandchildren, Eric Davis (Emily), Melody Mobley, Jennifer Shelley-Garner, Christen Myrick, and ten great grandchildren.
