I am one of many first cousins to Jerry from my mothers side of the family. My mother, Helen Fisher/Miller was a sister to Jerry's mom Francis and we grew up in the same generation visiting each other thru the years. Although it has been many years since seeing Jerry I think back to how that I always thought of Jerry, David and Nannete as being on their way to great things in life. Jerry always struck me as a success in whatever he chose to do guided by the values from his dad and mom. I thought the world of his parents. I know that we all go different paths in life but it sounds as though I was right about Jerry's life...successful and fulfilling.
I am the son of Duval and Helen Miller of Tuscaloosa, Alabama having grown up there and now I live in Avon Park, Florida with my wife Charlene of 46 years and three children. I can appreciate the life long commitment that the two of you had.
I close now wishing you and your family peace and strength for the coming days. May you always look to God for comfort.

Cheryl and family: how I wish we could be there to celebrate Jerry’s life with you, to give you hugs, and express our love in person. But we are out of the country so this will have to do. Hang on to your faith, and hope in a grand reunion in the next life, and the wonderful memories that you have, and know that you are thought of and prayed for by those of us who love you. With love, hugs, and prayers,
Tami Webster Francis
