JoAnn Batchelor Caldwell, 74, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
JoAnn was born in Macon, Georgia to the late George and Maxine Floyd Batchelor. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Buddy Batchelor and Allen Batchelor. JoAnn was a graduate of Macon State College and was retired from Jones County Board of Education. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and O-Ma.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Edward Caldwell of Macon, children, Lee (Lori) McMullan of Jones County, Wesley Clark of New York, Linda (Walter) McNatte of Macon, Tracy McMullan of Crawford and Amber (Wesley) Mathe of Warner Robins, eight grandchildren, siblings, Jack (Cyndi) Batchelor of Crawford County, Jan Hutto of Fitzgerald, Roy (Lynn) Batchelor of Twiggs County, Beth (Larry) Jones of Warner Robins and several nieces and nephews.
