JoAnn Louise Wright, 79, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 until service time on Friday. Entombment in the Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum will be private. Elder Gary James will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon 31210.
Mrs. Wright was born in Perdido Key, FL, the daughter of the late Louise Thomley and Brack Ward. She was the widow of Nolan B. Wright, Sr. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and the former Vice-President of Heavenly Hair Creations.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her sons, Nolan B. Wright, Jr. of Macon and Joe Edward Beasley of Zodiac, NC; daughters, Robin Warthen of Byron and Mary Anne Herbolsheimer of Palm Harbor, FL; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
