Joanne H. Hudgins, 92, of Byron died Thursday May 28, 2026, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Monday June 1, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Benjamin Newberry will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
Mrs. Hudgens was born in Macon, the daughter of the late John Lafayette Hudson and Mary Lee Taylor Hudson. She was predeceased by her husband Woodfin Grady Hudgins, Sr and a son Woody Hudgins, Jr. She retired from ACE Trash Service. Mrs. Hudgins was a graduate of A.L. Miller High School and a faithful member of Mikado Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter: Brenda Faye Cannon Tucker of Lizella, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Danny Tucker, Shane Tucker, Erica Thomaston and Jacob Hudgins.
