John Wesley Calhoun, age 85, of Tifton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow's @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grace Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Sardis Church Road.
Wesley was born in Fort Valley, Georgia to the late John Wesley Calhoun and Clifford Inez Morgan Calhoun. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Morgan Calhoun and sister, Inez Morgan Calhoun. Wesley was a graduate of the University of Georgia and he served his country in the United States Air Force and was a realtor with Trophy Real Estate in Atlanta. He was a member of the First Church of Christian Scientist of Atlanta. Wesley was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing basketball.
He is survived by his cousins, Kitty Pullen of Byron, Susie Stewart of Marietta, Ginger Emmert of McKinney, TX and Eric Pullen of Perry.
