A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Fellowship Church at 4967 Sandy Point Road in Lizella, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Reverend Bobby Hamlin will officiate.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, he was the son of the late Gordon and Joan Alice Deemer Strickland. He retired as a foreman with Georgia Power Company after more than 42 years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Strickland; his children, Caelan Strickland and Brandon Strickland (Sara Short); and his grandchildren, Braxton and Blaire Strickland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Fellowship Church, 4967 Sandy Point Road, Lizella, Georgia 31052, or to the ALS Clinic, 4035 Eleanor Drive, Macon, Georgia 31210.
