Johnny J. Rowe, 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, service, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
Johnny was born in Kirchheimbolanden, Germany, to the late Willie Ellis and Regina Elizabeth Rowe. A proud patriot, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, Johnny continued his commitment to serving others through his career as a Deputy with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. He was also a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Above all, Johnny treasured his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather who found his greatest joy in the people he loved. His family was the center of his world, and the memories made together will forever be treasured. His kindness, dedication, and love will remain a lasting part of the lives he touched.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Sandra Rowe of Lizella; his children, William (Kaitlin) Rowe of Macon, Brandie (Andrew) Meeks of Thomaston, Tia Garrett of Dublin, Kimberly (Erik) Smith of Macon, and Mallory Seaton of Cochran; and his eight precious grandchildren, October Cavanaugh, Bettie Sky Rush, Weston Smith, Everett Smith, Haylee Garrett, Addison Garrett, Savannah Meeks, and Delilah Rowe. Each held a special place in his heart, and his love for them will continue to live on through the memories they shared.
