Almost one year has passed and it's still hard to believe you aren't here to light up every room you walk in. There isn't one day your family doesn't think about you and remember your smile and the things you used to do. When we go to church we see the bass and it's like you're right there smiling playing music for God! Jose was truly a light in this dark world.  He was always friendly and respectful.  His beautiful smile and handsome countenance were a sight to behold for the young girls when he attended Appling Middle.  His presence was missed when he left Appling and certainly will be missed since he has crossed over into the LORD'S presence, but we haven't yet. What are some of the feelings that one might feel when a Jose passes away. When someone that is special to us is gone it can be difficult to continue living life. Things that were special to you may begin to seem pointless when you don't have that special person to share it with. All of the things that you did together are reminders of the loss that you have suffered. Do yourself a favor and take the time to mourn your loss.

It's very sad for me to know the day of my birth was the day of my close friend's death. Jose was the most sweetest boy I had ever met. His smile lit up any room and his spirit was pure bliss. Hello every one my name is shakiraa. i was a friend of jose and genesis. i was terrified and very upset when i heard about what happend. i was very close to the both of them. i remember when i first met the bravo family was at genesis birthday party. from that moment i knew that they we're kind hearted loving people and from that moment i cherished every moment with them. even when i visited there church. when i first met jose i knew that he was a kind loving person. he was respectful and such a gentlemen. everytime i seen him he would always be smiling or laughing. i used to ask him ''why are you always so happy'' he would say "because i have alot to smile and be greatful for"... I wrote this poem just for jose and as I wrote this poem tears came to my eyes.
 '' I never said goodbye, i never told you how much im going to miss you, But GOD knows that i pray peace be within you. Tomarrow has passed, today has came and im still wondering why this shall come. Thoughts wondering through my head left and right praying that things be ok. i hear your voice from a mile away telling me to just keep faith and believe that im going to make it. Today is a sad day, crying , pressure, hurt people everywhere. So i smile to keep a tear from falling and causing it from all falling apart. I can hear you say '' be joyful, celebrate'' but deep down all i really want to do is fall to my knees and beg mercy. Well now that you're gone and the clouds have rowed in, i see the heavy rain fall and see thunder begin to roar. A voice from the heavens above reaches out to me and tells me to keep faith and believe. Now that the rain is gone and the sun has set i know you was some what special.
