Joyce Sanders Newberry, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Tim McCoy officiating. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Newberry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Clarence Tillman and Willene Bennett Sanders and was preceded in death by her grandson, Daniel Price and sister, Shirley Collier. She was a homemaker and member of Ingleside Baptist Church. Mrs. Newberry was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Morris Newberry; children, Teresa (Carl) Holton and Tim (Terri) Newberry; and grandchildren, Grant Holton, Alex Newberry and Landon Newberry.
