Judy Lynn Powell, 78, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Powell officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Judy was born in Levelland, Texas to the late Guy and Pauline Caddell Lester Crumpton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Powell, her son, Jimmy Michael Voyles and brother, Danny Joe Crumpton. Judy was a graduate of Iowa Park High School where she was captain of the cheerleading, homecoming queen and FFA sweetheart. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved watching Rodeo’s, and enjoyed crafting.
She is survived by her god children, Tamara and David P. Jolly, god granddaughter, Rosemary Anne Turner, dear friend, Janice Dixon, sisters-in-law, Marjorie Powell (Tony) Briggs of Milledgeville, Betty Latham (Larry) Cooley of Centerville and, Joan Brook of NJ, and brother-in-law, Dr. Ronald (Shelia) Powell of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
