June Grisham Butler, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, July 31, 2016. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Dianne Sweckard and the Rev. Teresa Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 1217 Forest Hill Road, Macon, 31210.
June was born in Decatur, Alabama to the late Glynn and Cannie Grisham and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Butler. She was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church, where she was involved with the Grace Bible Study, Dorcas Circle, Singing Saints and the Good Timers. June was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara (Steve) Saemisch, Betsy Baugham and Bunny (Ronnie) Webb; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brandon) Powers, Molly (Keith) Bice, Robert (Candace) Rogers, Joe Baugham, Ronald “Mac” (Larisa) Webb, Mark (Alaina) Webb, and Elizabeth (Austin) James; and seven great grandchildren.
