Funeral Services will be private with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Macon, She was the Daughter of the late Herbert W. Shipman and Georgia Mae Fletcher Shipman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Philip Wacter and two brothers, Karl Shipman and John Michael Brown.
Mrs. Wacter worked at Corky Bell’s of Macon for many years until they closed down. Where she then went to work for Walmart and was loved by her customers and team members. Katie worked there for more than 10 years. She was an avid Music Lover and loved spending time with her family. Her Sweet hearted nature will be missed.
She is survived by her Step Children, Heather Wacter (Robert) and Sheena Buice (Eddie) Nephew, James Michael Brown, Grandchildren, Steven Holloway (Madison), Seth Mitchell (Stephanie), and Layden Buice and her Little dog Tio.
