Kay Chilton “K.C.” Hite, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, June 24, 2017. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Holmes officiating. The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge-View Cemetery in Eden, North Carolina. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Gilead Baptist Church, 4800 Ivey Dr., Macon, 31206.
K.C. was born in Draper, North Carolina to the late Magaline Chilton. She was employed with American Tobacco in Reidsville, North Carolina for most of her career and later, Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation. K.C. was a member of Gilead Baptist Church for over 20 years and was a devoted Christian who loved serving her Lord.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Morgan Hite; cousins, Betty Sue Easter, Stevie Chilton and Jimmy Chilton, Jr.
