Kay Merritt Lord, 68, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 30, 2016. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 2:00pm at Fellowship Church with Rev. Russ Bozeman officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
Kay was born in Byron, Georgia to the late William and Genella Walker Merritt and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lord; son, William Anthony Lord; sister, Audrey Teague and brother, Delano Merritt. She was a Bookkeeper and later a Manager with Georgia Power Macon Federal Credit Union and a member of Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Breanna and Amina Lord; several great grandchildren; sisters, Vickie (Wayne) Miller and Beverly (Eddie) Bloodworth; sister-in-law, Debra Merritt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
