

James Kenneth “Big Ken-Big Daddy” Jones, 71, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 21, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Assembly of God. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen N. Johnson and Rev. Rex Odom officiating. Ken was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James Q. and Christine Crowe Jones. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Ann Jones. He was a graduate of Brown High School in Atlanta, Georgia and worked for the Atlanta Police Department. Ken was the Founder and CEO of Ken’s Stereo Junction for thirty seven years. He served on the Board of Directors for the Macon Rescue Mission and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Big Daddy’s greatest love was his Lord and Savior and he had an incredible love for his family.
He is survived by his devoted sons, Kenny (Melissa) Jones of Macon, Michael (Wendy) Jones of Macon, beloved grandchildren, Tiffany (Kurt) Kozee, Justin Jones, Austin Jones, Madison Jones, Cooper Jones all of Macon, one great grandson, Bentley Kozee, sister; Gail Jones (Earl) Nelms of Douglasville, brothers; Jerry Q. Jones of Dublin, and Harry A. (Kim) Jones of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
