Kitty H. Neace, 84, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016. A celebration of her life with a reception following will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Hamlin officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends Wednesday night from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Kitty was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Tillman and Thelma Marshall Hartley and was preceded in death by her son, James Knight “Butch” Hogan, III. Farming was her life and she spent her days on a John Deere tractor and raising cattle on her farm. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed her trips around the world. Kitty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Paul (Nancy) Hogan and Robin (Gene) Green; grandchildren, Paul Hogan, Jr., Glenn Hogan, Jim Miller, Sierra (Kenneth) McGrotha, Thomas Green, and Jamey (John) Hendrix; great grandchildren, Leland McGrotha, Natalie Hendrix and Benjamin Hendrix.
