Kitty JoAnne Walker, 87, formerly of Macon, passed away July 28, 2021 in Richmond, KY. A Celebration of Life will be held at Riverside United Methodist Church on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Antonie E. Walker officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, 735 Pierce Avenue, Macon GA 31210 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Born in Bibb County, Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Charlie Mae Wilkinson and William LaSander Kelly. She attended public schools and graduated from Henry Grady High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Walker retired from Bibb County Board of Education where she was a paraprofessional at T.D. Tinsley Elementary. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church, the Love Circle, and the Beatty-Gray Sunday School Class. She was the widow of Brunson Walker and was preceded in death by a son, Scott Causey and daughter-in-law, Tanya Causey.
Survivors are sons and daughter-in-law, Vann (Judy) Causey of Cumming, GA, Chris (Dawn) Causey of Cumming, GA, daughter-in-law, Wendy Causey of Winchester, KY, six grandchildren, Summer Causey (Joe Williams) of Jacksonville, FL, Scott Causey, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, Sarah Beth (Jimmy) Hollowed of Lexington, KY, Blake Causey (Eric Adams) of Tampa, Levin Causey of Kennesaw, Elizabeth Causey of Macon, and great grandchildren, Theodore Hollowed & Sydney Jean Williams.
