Larry Gene Singleton, 70, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Marty Watson officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Singleton was born in Macon, Georgia to the late John and Frances Jones Singleton, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Clara Frances McDaniel and Annie Ruth Singleton and his brother, John Singleton, Jr. He served in the United States Navy and was a former member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He was retired from Boral Bricks and enjoyed watching football and baseball.
He is survived by his loving and devoted sister, Shelby Jean Watson of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
