Larry Rodgers

Larry Olin Rodgers, age 79, passed away on September 11, 2026. He was a lifelong residence of Macon, GA. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 18, 2026, at 11:00 am at Lizella Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Parson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be immediately following the service at Lizella Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Atrium Children’s Hospital, Macon, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Betty Rodgers and his brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Brenda Rodgers. Larry was a member of Lizella Baptist Church, the John Henry Sunday School Class, a member of the Lizella Masonic Lodge, and a previous member of Middle Ga Cruisers. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Larry was the owner of Rodgers Upholstery prior to his retirement.

Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha Rodgers; daughter, Brandi (Andrew) Stevenson, sons Michael (Marilyn) Rodgers, Mike (Rachel) Phillips, and Mark (Cheryl) Christmas; sisters, Tommie (Johnny) Weeks and Wanda Clance; brother, Bill (Donita) Rodgers; grandchildren, Gavin Angelo, Lexi (Hunter) Morgan, Tyler Phillips, Holly Phillips, Courtney (Caleb) Brown, and Mark Christmas Jr.; great grandchildren, Leland and Addi Kate and numerous nieces and nephews.
