LaVerne Nell Dunn Kirkbride

LaVerne Nell Dunn Kirkbride, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, December 10, 2017. A celebration of her life will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00am at Lizella Baptist Church with Dr. Shannon Back and Rev. Chris Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday night at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 South Lizella Road, Lizella, 31052.

LaVerne was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Thomas and Mattie Crosby Glass and was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Levi Dunn, and brother, Frank Glass. She was retired from Keebler and attended Lizella Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Friends group. LaVerne was an avid traveler and loved spending time with her beloved family.

Survivors include her husband, Rex Kirkbride; children, Marilyn (Greg) Sapp and Melody (Dennis) McCallum; step children, John (Rebecca) Kirkbride and Linda (Wayne) Fiorenza; grandchildren, Levi (Janel) Bailey, April (Cole) Huling, Greg (Nicole) Sapp, April Powers, Josh McCallum, Kyle (Billie) McCallum, Jordan McCallum, Brandon Powers and Evan Powers; step grandchildren, Chris (Beth) Kirkbride, Wesley Kirkbride and Stephen (Jennifer) Fiorenza; great grandchildren, Tanner Bailey, Carlie Bailey, Marlyn Huling, Lilly Huling, Noah Huling, Lea Sapp, Alexis Sapp, Ryder McCallum and Rowdy McCallum; step great grandchildren, Ella Kirkbride and Joey Fiorenza; and great great grandson, Corbin Chaffin.
