Laverne Gilder McMichael

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Mausoleum Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with visitation beginning at 1:00. Rev. Paul Dziadul will officiate. Entombment will be in the Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mrs. McMichael was born in McRae, Georgia the daughter of the late Clara Pearl Davis Gilder and Robert Lee Gilder and was the widow of Thomas Jefferson McMichael. She retired from Georgia Kraft as a bookkeeper. Mrs. McMichael traveled extensively with The Senior Friends and was a volunteer at the Coliseum Medical Center for 10 years.

Mrs. McMichael is survived by her daughter, Elaine McMichael of Dry Branch; grandchildren, Christian Priest (Greg) of Griffin and Justin Boyer (Tosha) of Rogersville, TN; great-grandchildren, Nicklaus, Brooklyn, London, and Michael; sister, Willine Dorris of Waldo, FL; many nieces & nephews.
