Leah Ann Tinsley, age 64, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Leah was born in Macon the daughter of the late Judith Anderson Tinsley and Foye L. Tinsley, Jr. and was preceded in death by her aunt, Leah Janice "Aunt Honey" Tinsley and her niece, Savannah Tinsley. She was a bookkeeper with the Board of Education having worked at Rutland Middle School. Leah was a member of the Rainbow Girls.
Leah is survived by her son, Matthew Adams (Maranda) of Warner Robins; grandson, Ryder McElhenney; brothers, Foye L. Tinsley, III (Lisa), Ronnie J. Tinsley, Sr. (Gale), and Tommy B. Tinsley; nieces, Ashley Mangus (Geoff) and Victoria Roberts (Dane); nephew, Ronnie J. Tinsley, Jr. (Laura).
