Leo Brown, 75, passed away in the presence of his family on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Saturday, September 3rd at Highland Hills Baptist Church with private burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. James Dant and Dr. Jim Bruner will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 2nd at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. They suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association , 5962 Zebulon Road, No. 359, Macon 31210 or to Highland Hills Baptist Church, 1370 Briarcliff Road, Macon 31211.
Mr. Brown, son of the late Robert Leon and Ella Pearl Gibbs Brown, was born in Owensboro and had lived in Macon for fifty-two years. He was owner of Leo Brown Heating and Air Conditioning Company and was a licensed HVAC contractor. He was a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Carolyn K. Brown of Macon; his sons, Leo Carroll (Connie) Brown of Macon, Robert Scott (Denise) Brown of Cumming and Jeffrey O'Neal (Lori) Brown of Huntersville, NC; his daughter, Andrea (Kamy) Molavi of Sandy Springs; six grandchildren, Lillie Molavi and Neena Molavi of Sandy Springs, Brandon Brown of Forsyth, Amelia Brown and Carter Brown of Cumming and Mary Grace Brown of Huntersville, NC; his brothers, Wilburn (Judy) Brown of Cedartown and Merle (Shirley) Brown of Rochelle; his sister, Robbie (Delt) Bullington of Sycamore, and several nieces and nephews.
