Leone A. Richardson, 91, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Nicholas Adkins officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westview Nursing Center, 1000 Dorset Road, Port Wentworth GA 31407.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Macon, GA to the late Frank B. and Rena B. Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Richardson. Leone was a homemaker and loved her family.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Virginia (William) Lewis of Guyton, Donnie (Yolanda) Rooks of Las Vegas, Robert Rooks of Macon, Albert Balkcom of Macon, Hazel (Elno) Pippin of Rincon, Mildred (Julius) Pippin of Guyton, Nancy Milliken of Rincon, Luther (Amy) Adkins of Sylvester, step-children; Steve Richardson of Macon, Lowell Richardson of Stockbridge, Jennie Merritt of Forsyth and grandchildren; Kenneth Bishop and Marlo Simmons.
