Linda Pierce Lamberth, 83, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Riverside Cemetery, North Gate. The family may be contacted at the residence of Eddie Lamberth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38102 or Gilead Baptist Church, 4800 Ivey Drive, Macon, GA 31206.
Mrs. Lamberth was born to the late Malcolm V. Pierce and Edna Earle Parker Pierce in McIntyre, GA. She married Dewey Edwin Lamberth on June 10, 1961. She retired from Kmart after twenty-five years. She was a member of Gilead Baptist Church. Her favorite pastimes were reading and traveling. She journeyed across the country several times and visited Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Kevin Pierce Lamberth, nephew Shawn Nelson, her parents, and sister Gwendolyn Pierce.
Survivors include her children, Debra (LTC Retired Dennis) Schrecengast of La Fargeville, NY and Eddie (Amber Hodor} Lamberth of Macon, GA. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, SK1 Pierce Schrecengast (USCG) of Buffalo NY, Kaley VanDyke of Lowville, NY, and Joshua (Janie) Lamberth of Gray, GA and great-granddaughters Sadie Jane and Sawyer Lamberth, and Addelynn Hodor. Her sister, Phyllis (Lamar) Nelson of McIntrye, GA and nephews Shannon and Shane Nelson of Katy, TX.
