Linda Massey Broxton, 75, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
Linda was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Frank and Mary Francis Massey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Broxton and her children, Allen Dolan, Mal Cranford, and Tammy Dolan. She was a Camp Leader with the Boy Scouts of America. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her children, M. Theresa Smith (Kerry Dutton), Susan (David) Johnson, Sandy Cranford, Heather Smallwood, Erin Wilson, Trey Broxton (Shelly) and Carter Broxton, twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren, brother, Richard (Karen) Massey, niece, Tiffany Brush, and nephew, Chris Massey.
