Mallie Hugh Joiner

Mallie Hugh Joiner, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 8, 2018. A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Ingleside Baptist Church. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Mark Hudgins, Dr. Tim McCoy and the Rev. Larry Harris officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ingleside Baptist Church, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon GA 31210.

Hugh was born in Adel, Georgia to the late Houston Joiner and Ethel O’Quinn Joiner. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Joiner. Hugh was an active member of Ingleside Baptist Church. He was a self-employed Insurance Adjuster for forty five years. Hugh was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Mazie D. Joiner of Macon, children, Robin Joiner (Randy) Conway of Valdosta, GA, Mathue M. (Paula) Joiner of Gainesville, GA, Monte Lee Joiner of Cumming, GA, Kristin Joiner (Brad) Winter of Omaha, NE, grandchildren, Brandon Joiner, Aaron Joiner, Jade Conway, Maya Conway, Delaney Joiner, Mattie Joiner, Brennan Winter, and Carson Winter, two great grandchildren, Aiden and Aaliyah, brothers, Jerry Joiner and Marshall (Judy) Joiner and numerous nieces and nephews.
