BYRON, GA – Malvin M. Masicott, 74, passed away Friday, December 07, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Sam Lamback will officiate. The family will greet friends from 4 until 6 PM Sunday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Those who wish may make donations to the Emory Eye Center, 1365 Clifton Road Northeast Atlanta, GA 30322.
Mr. Masicott was born in Macon and had lived in Middle Georgia for most of his life. He was retired after almost 40 years of service from Atlanta Gas Light Company and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Masicott was the son of the late Alfred and Margaret Martin Masicott. He worked with the Cub Scouts for 4 years and then the Boy Scouts for over 15 years. Mr.
Masicott loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and tinkering around in his workshop.
Mr. Masicott is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patsy Collins Masicott of Byron and Lake Sinclair; children, Charles Randy Masicott of New York, Ricky Lee Masicott of Macon, and Rady Joseph Masicott (Elizabeth) of Byron.
