Margaret “Maggie” Bozeman Chapman, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother J.R. Jimenez and Rev. Len Woodard officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make donations to donor’s favorite charity.
Margaret was born in Cochran, Georgia to the late Howard and Kemper Manning Bozeman. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James T. Chapman and Lester L. NeSmith, Sr. She was retired from Shoe Shack and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and she also attended church at Pine Gate. Margaret was a member of the Red Hats Club. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her children; Kemper Grace(Billy) Brooks of Byron, Lester “Buck” (Thelma) NeSmith of Gordon, Hugh (Terri) NeSmith of Gordon, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and step-brother, Vance Watson.
