Margaret Hickman, 88, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at Pine Pointe Hospice. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Margaret was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Harry H. and Mary Elizabeth Watson Davidson and was a lifelong resident of Macon. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Broadus Baxley Hickman, Sr. and three sisters. Margaret retired from Chapman Transmission as a bookkeeper. She loved spending time with her family and being a “Granny” to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren she adored.
Survivors include her one sister, Sylvia Harris and her devoted children, Broadus Baxley Hickman, Jr. of Macon, Walter and Wanda Hickman of Crawford County, Phillip and Sheila Hickman of Monroe County and Michelle Raffield of Macon; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
