Marjorie Elizabeth Hardy, 88, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Brother Louis Kitchens will officiate. The family will greet friends beginning one hour prior to service at the funeral home and will receive friends following the service at the residence of Buck and Janice Crosby, 141 Clinton Crossing Drive, Gray 31032.
Mrs. Hardy was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Minnie David Davis and Willie Davis. She was a former crossing guard for the Bibb County Board of Education and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hardy is survived by her daughter, Janice (Buck) Crosby of Gray; son, Bobby (Barbara) Hardy of Ellijay; grandchildren, Denise Spivey, Wendi McCright, Jason Crosby, and Jeremiah Bond; nine great-grandchildren.
