Martha Batchelor
November 28, 1938 – May 11, 2022

Martha Burns Batchelor, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Home for Children, 304 Pierce Ave., Macon GA 31204 or American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Macon GA 31201.
Martha was born in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jordan Milo Burns and Thelma Louise Price Burns Greene; step-father, Ralph Greene; brother, Jerrell Burns; brother-in-law, Frank Graham; and son-in-law, Matt Bennett. Martha was a realtor with ReMax for many years and a member of the Million Dollar Club. She was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Batchelor of Macon; daughters, Debra Bennett of Forsyth; Denise Davis of Macon; grandchildren, Stephanie Wammock of Forsyth and Daniel (Rachel) Brennan of Macon; great grandchildren, Harper Grace and Bennett G. Brennan; sister, Myrel Graham; sister-in-laws, Alice Burns, Joyce (Paul) Griffin, Martha Pierce, Mary Lou Jones; brother-in-law, Richard (Margaret) Batchelor; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
