Martin Ira Pearson, age 74, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024. A memorial celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, in the sanctuary of Rock Springs Church in Macon with Rev. John Creech officiating.
Mr. Pearson was born January 22, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Cecil Ira Pearson and Ruby Ada Lynch Pearson. He was a devoted minister for many years, serving churches in Tennessee and Georgia. He was the former pastor of Parkway Baptist Church and a member of Turning Point Community Church. Mr. Pearson loved to lead people to the Lord and enjoyed watching football.
Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife of fifty-one years: Pamela Wiley Pearson; children: John Paul Pearson, Micah Pearson, Matthew Pearson, and Nathan Pearson; grandchildren: Jordan Pearson, Sydney Pearson, Lilah Pearson, Claire Pearson, Violet Pearson, Graham Pearson, and Norah Pearson; best friend and brother: R. L. Moore, and by a brother; David Pearson.
