Mary Alice Barnes

Mary Alice Barnes, 79, went to be with her Lord on November 21, 2012. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Garry Willis and the Rev. Herbert S. Williams officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 5046 Fulton Mill Road, Macon GA 31216.

Mrs. Barnes was born in Crawford, County to the late Willis and Annie Joyner Andrews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Barnes and her daughter, Sue Barnes West. Mrs. Barnes had lived in Juliette most of her life and was retired from Keebler Company. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

Survivors include her sons; Wayne (Lynne) Barnes and Ken Barnes both of Juliette, grandchildren; Dronda West Harvil of Smarr, Leanna (Scott) Williams of Milledgeville, Charla Barnes, Matt (Mary Beth) Barnes all of Macon, William Barnes of Juliette, great grandchildren, Sara, Ana, Thomas Harvil of Smarr and Drue and Wesley Williams of Milledgeville, sisters; Lois Rowell of Fort Valley and Betty Jean Scott of Macon, and loving nieces and nephews.
