Mary “Bunk” Sims Stevens, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 30, 2016. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Long officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Monday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Stevens was born in Laurens County, Georgia to the late Olin and Mattie Bell Smallwood Sims and was preceded in death by her husband, Julian B. Stevens and two daughters, Judy Ann and Patsy Stevens. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Vienna.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Claire) Stevens; grandchildren, Bryant (Keri) Stevens, Ricky (Amy) Stevens and Judy (Bert) Branch; and nine great grandchildren.
