Mary Ellen Johnson Joaquin, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, February 9, 2017. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Robby Kerr officiating. Entombment will be private. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Mary was born in Leesburg, Florida to the late James and Eliza Malloy Johnson and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Joaquin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son, Rick (Mary) Joaquin of Macon; grandchildren, Lisa (Tim) Floyd of Cochran and Kristy (Scott) Cagle of Cumming; five great grandchildren; sister, Faye (Floyd) Chambers of Macon; two nephews and one niece.
