Mary Catherine “Cat” Kurtz, 83, passed away on June 29, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Sam Lamback. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
Mrs. Kurtz was born on July 22, 1938 to the late Claude Madison Brickle and Mary Thompson Brickle. She was a homemaker and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lee Kurtz, Sr.; son, Daniel Lee Kurtz, Jr.; brother, Claude Madison (Junior) Brickle; and sister-in-law, Delores Bone. Mrs. Kurtz was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her sons, Claude Richard Kurtz (Debbie) of Dublin and Clinton Timothy Kurtz (Wendy) of Macon; grandchildren, Lee Kurtz, Cathy Lynch (James), Mary Kurtz, Jennifer Watkins, Stephanie Thompson, Aaron Kurtz and Christopher Kurtz; great granddaughter, Alaina Kurtz; daughter-in-law, Elaine Kurtz; sister-in-law, Margaret Brickle; and brother-in-law, Fred Bone; and extended family and friends.
