Dear Beth, I just found out as I was reading the obit that Melissa passed away.  I am so shocked to read this.  Our heart aches for you and Marc.  We send our love and prayers during this heartbreaking time for you.

I am very, very, very sad to hear about this. Melissa and I have been friends for so long. We met when I was 12 and she introduced me to so many things including Laura Tucker my other best friend from childhood. Melissa and I have remained friends through Facebook though it has been so long since we laid on thecouch at her momsmom's sucking our thumbs I still feel a great sense of loss. I love you Melissa. Tell my mom and brothers I love them and though you never met him my husband Jon is there to. I am sure you will have a line of those to greet you all standing behind your daddy.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Melissa. Her and I worked very close together a few years back and she was truly an angel. She will forever be missed. Your family are in my prayers.

Mrs. Beth & Marc, I have been thinking of Melissa so much lately, I just didn't know why. The Lord has truly blessed us with a dear and beautiful friend, and she will always be a big part of my life and memories as a teen. She, Kari and I were inseparable and she had a very big impact in our lives! I have learned to try not to take the ones who are precious in our lives, for granted. Mrs. Beth, I'm not sure how to console you, only to pray. Knowing that it just doesn't seem natural for a child to go before a parent, and I will be a witness to how much you two meant to one another and how you were each others light! Marc, I can say I know what it's like losing my sibling. It's hard and without the comfort of the Lord on my side, sometimes you just don't know how to get through! But I am praying fervently for both of you and the rest of your family. You've experienced loss before. You aren't new to it. Yet It hurts no less.
