Mickie J. Barberich

Mickie J. Barberich, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 17, 2026. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Parson officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time.

Mickie was born in Anniston, Alabama to the late Mickie Marion and Nellie Thompson Barberich. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Barberich. He was a devoted member of Lizella Baptist Church and was retired from G.B. Sawyer Food Brokery. Mickie was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Melton Barberich of Macon, three sons, Bruce (Alyssa) Barberich of Titusville, Jeff (Lori) Barberich of Titusville, and Jay (Amy) Barberich of Macon, two step-children, Julie (Ben) Caldwell, Brandon (Cara) Christy, fifteen grandchildren, Ryan (Tabitha) Barberich, Justin (Sonnel) Barberich, Joey Barberich, Alice, Courtney (Jason) Kelley, Christopher Barberich, Lyndsey (Trevor) Barberich, Jordan (Vic) Barberich, Dylan (Brooke) Caldwell, Luke (Taryn) Caldwell, Jake (Macey) Caldwell, Seth (Maggie) Christy, Callie Christy, Joseph Christy and Connor Christy, three great grandchildren, Roran, Lexie and Laney, two sisters, Sherry Adams of St. Simons, and Jane (Allen) Gilbert of South Carolina.
