Mildred Partain, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving husband, and two daughters. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Minton officiating. The family will greet friends at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Mildred was born in Twiggs County to the late Wiley and Frances Sangster, and was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy, Ann, and Elizabeth. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church for 57 years. Her family was her everything. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Oliver Partain; children, Gayle (Dennis) Meadows, and Glenda (Richie) Atcheson; grandchildren, Dakota (Taylour) Meadows, Joshua (Jen) Meadows, Jennifer (Matt) Dean, and Kaylee and Timothy Atcheson; great grandchildren, Trey, Sammy, Ollie, Hank, Joshua, Josiah, Jubilee, and Janna; and sister, Kathryn (Max) Smith.
