Montana Lowery Knowles, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 21, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Porterfield Baptist Church. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chris L. Dotson officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Porterfield Baptist Church, Youth Group in her name, 2910 Allen Road, Macon GA 31216.
Montana was born in Telfair County, Georgia to the late John Herman and Laura Patterson Lowery. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Russell Knowles, and a daughter Gail Hambrick. Montana was a member of Porterfield Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her son, William Michael Knowles, three grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Webb, Amber Murray and Toby (Heather) White, eight great grandchildren, sister, JoAnn (Billy) Adams, and several nieces and nephews.
