Nellie F. Roquemore, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 26, 2020. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Noon in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Monty February officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Nellie was born in Milan, Georgia to the late Elijah H. and Mary Lee Willis Covington. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Butch” Letlow and fifteen siblings. Nellie was retired from Kroger and was a member of Cathedral of Christ Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Roquemore of Ivey, daughter, Donna (Dan) Smith of Macon, six grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Michael Smith, Stephen Smith, Chandra Massey,Chad Letlow and Malacy Letlow, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson, brother-in-laws, Landon Vance and Pete Roquemore and several nieces and nephews.
