Nona Patricia Carter, 86, died Friday August 22, 2025. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 26,2025 at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Benny Turner and Mrs. Brenda Turner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
Patricia was born in Macon, the daughter of the late Rufus Edward and Cora Helen Ross James. She was predeceased by her husband, Larry Carter. She was a graduate of A. L. Miller High School and was a member of Lizella Methodist Church. She was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway.
Survivors include her daughter, Nona Bush; sister, Janie Kaylor of Townsend, GA; brother, Rufus James of Macon, GA, several nephews and a niece; Chan Kaylor (Cleo), Shea Kaylor, Paul James and Cori James (Jason); 2 Great Nephews; Jack Kaylor and Pete Kaylor.
Snow’s Funerals and Cremation at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
