MACON – Norma Cox Lundy, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at a local hospital. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 4th in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Chuck Beaver will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lundy, daughter of the late Steve and Jessie Lee McPherson Cox, was a lifelong resident of Macon. She was a member of Bass United Methodist Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose joy was in taking care of her family.
Those surviving her include her husband of sixty-three years, Willie H. Lundy of Macon; her three sons and their wives, Gregory and Ellen Lundy of Woodstock, Russell Lundy of Homer and Clay and Myra Lundy of Forsyth; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
