

Oscar “Paul” Nobles, 78, went to his Heavenly home on June 30, 2013 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Johnson and Dr. Aubrey Sheats officiating. The family will meet friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Nobles was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Oscar and Gladys Nobles. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Nobles. Paul was retired from Robins Air Force Base after thirty eight years of dedicated services and worked as a bailiff for the Bibb County Sherriff’s Office for seventeen years. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, Pathfinders Sunday School Class and was a Mason.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty nine years, Jerlene “Dean” Nobles, sons, Kenny (Debbie) Nobles, Charles (Julie) Nobles, and daughter, Paula (Boyce) Piper, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sisters, Louise Grizzard, Margaret Kermicle, Rose Pittman, and Mildred Donaldson, and several nieces and nephews.
