She graduated from Mercer University with a BS degree in Sociology. Paige was Employment Manager for the City of Macon for 22 years and also an Insurance Agent for Monumental Life Insurance for five years before retiring.
Paige was an animal lover and she loved the beach. Paige was predeceased by her parents , JT Mills and Murrell P Mills and her husband, James Richard Montgomery. She is survived by her son, Brett McWhorter (and family).
