Pamela “Pam” Etheredge Sanford, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Jones officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at Snow's @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage United Methodist Church, 4062 Forsyth Road, Macon GA 31210.
Pam was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Louis Shell Etheredge, Sr. and Christine Caroll Etheredge. She was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Shell Etheredge, Jr. She was graduate of the Class of 1965 from McEvoy High School. Pam was the dedicated office manager at Ken’s Stereo for over thirty-eight years and loved her co-workers as if they were her family. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters and grandchildren and planting flowers. Pam was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Hardigree of Atlanta, Taffy Layne Carr of St. Simons, three grandchildren, GB Hardigree of Cape Cod, Emily Hardigree of Atlanta, Wyatt Hardigree of Dallas, TX, two great grandchildren, Cecilia and Henry Hardigree, sister, Sarah Powers and several beloved nieces and a nephew.
